Food photography at Maroush represents everything we love about what we do
Maroush is a traditional, Lebanese restaurant group with modern, effortless London style. Their interiors are fascinating to photograph and their food is out of this world. They have 17 restaurants in London, each flourishing in it’s own unique atmosphere and run by dedicated and passionate staff. We have been working with Maroush for over 5 years now and always find ourselves looking forward to the next shoot! Our latest shoot with Maroush involved photographing the delicious new dishes created for the menu at their new location, Crocker’s Folly. Crocker’s Folly is a beautiful and grand, grade II listed, building in the heart of St John’s Wood, London. The architecture and interior design are stunning and the perfect backdrop for elegantly styled food photography.
Food photography involves a lot of preparation from all of those involved, the styling, lighting and most importantly the cooking, have to be spot on. We spent time talking with chef Pierre before the shoot began to make sure we would end up with the best shots possible for the Maroush website. Once our shot was set up, and the lighting on point, the dishes were placed in position one at a time. We and the whole Maroush team were extremely happy with the results!
