Hello, I’m Tony, a hotel & restaurant photographer in London
I’ve been a hospitality photographer for over 35 years. I love it. From shooting the extraordinary suites of 5-star hotels to capturing the early morning artistry at local bakeries, I know a thing or two about how to capture your food, venue and people in their best light.
Having worked closely with hotel/restaurant owners and marketing directors for many years, I’ve got a strong commercial awareness of what a photoshoot needs to achieve for a business. With that in mind, I like to get involved in the planning stages as early as possible so I can help ensure we get the most out of our time together.
My work has taken me all over the world, but some of the best work I’ve done has been right here at home in London, including capturing show-stopping cocktails at Sofitel St James and delicious dishes at Jeru in Mayfair.
I’ve always adored the hospitality industry and the people who work with such commitment and enthusiasm to create exceptional experiences. It’s why I’ve made capturing their life’s work my life’s work.
I pride myself on being able to deliver imagery that follows brand guidelines and tells a venue’s story, beautifully. Function and form.
I’ve worked on shoots with extremely strict creative guidelines, and with business owners who have fully relied on my creative direction and expertise to get the job done. Working with such a large range of clients and individuals means I have a lot of experience with different ways of working and thinking. I thrive on meeting new people and working on new concepts, that’s what keeps my creativity flowing!
I’m a creative at heart but relish the technical challenges that commercial photography presents. It’s great fun getting really creative on shoots but it’s knowing how and where your images will be used afterwards that steers the ship.
Good commercial photography depends on a finely tuned combination of craftsmanship, organisation and creative flair.
The success of a photoshoot relies on everyone involved working together. A team of creative minds can quickly become a disorganised nightmare, which does not bode well when it comes to tight campaign deadlines. I’ll use my knowledge and past experience to help you make important decisions, to make sure a shoot runs as smoothly as possible and to ensure the images produced are of a high standard and do the job they need to.
“I felt that throughout the several days shooting you really took time to understand my business and specific requirements and the finished product is testimony to your skill and professionalism.” –
